Jack FM Jackimals
Jack's got a soft spot for furballs so we've teamed up with the SPCA to find good loving homes for a dog and
a cat each week.
*With these tough economic times we have seen a big reduction in adoptions.
Please help all of the animals in the Central Valley; only adopt animals from shelters or rescues. If you can afford to buy an animal; save two lives instead of one (when you adopt it opens up cage space for another one looking for a home). Also you are not increasing the number of homeless animals when your animals are all spayed and neutered.*
Salina
She is sweet and young at heart with only 2 years of life lived so far.
She is a cream orange tabby with medium length hair. She is available at one of our offsite locations to give her a better chance at a home, and keeping cage space here at the shelter. She loves to play, uses her litterbox like a pro, and just loves to purr for you. ~135640~
Pogo
Wow is he small and fits under a fence! He is a young adult Chihuahua, that showed up in someone's yard with a green rope attached to his neck.
This breed just wants to be the king of the castle, and if left alone outside he is going to try to get back inside or find someone's arms to wrap around him. We are flooded with Chihuahua's at the shelter, they are great companions for a life time of love. His eyes should tell you everything, he just wants to adore someone and have them return the feeling. ~136983~
Pets From Last Week
Sweetheart & Chompers
These two are like so many "teenage"
kittens that we have right now. Back in April when they went into foster care they were just too little to go up for adoption. They came in with their mother and 2 other siblings. Mommy and siblings have been adopted long ago. Sweetheart and Chompers unfortunately got a cold and had to be treated for it. This put them into foster for a few more months. Now they are getting big and no longer look like kittens, however they still are and act like kittens. Their foster mommy loves them, and it is getting harder and harder to let them go, she knows that if she does not find them homes, she will not be able to bring more home to foster. They are both girls, about 6 months old now, and as playful and adventurous as ever. Please consider adopting, it saves so many lives! ~106889 + 106890~
These are just a few of many, many animals here at the shelter and they may already be adopted by the time you come by. We don't
like to risk a great home for any of our animals, so please understand that if you do not get to adopt these particular animals
shown that others are waiting to be adopted by some loving person/people.
Spay Today, Neuter Now!
Spay Today / Neuter Now!!! Please, if you need help we can help just give us a call at 233-0115. Make sure your cats are micro-chipped
that way they can return home faster if lost or trapped. This opens up space for cats that really need it. We have a microchip clinic
every Wed. night from 5-7 here at the shelter, it takes about 20 seconds to do. Help someone else spay / neuter their pet, do it for the animal.
New CCSPCA Adoption Rates!
We always need helping hands to give our animals at the shelter all that they deserve. If you are interested in volunteering please
contact Beth at 289-0374, or check our website at ccspca.com under the volunteer department. All volunteers will need to go through
an orientation; we hold them one Saturday and one Wednesday a month. The dates are on the website and also on the phone line.
There are many ways that you can help the animals, and save more lives. Please always be a part of the solution and not a part of
the problem. Remember Spay Today and Neuter Now! Thank you for caring for all the animals of the Central Valley.
